Beyond Me Moments

There are many times in our lives that we are faced with decisions and circumstances that seem to baffle or overwhelm us. More often, than not, these circumstance and decisions affect others as well. This world is not an island.

When making decisions, we have to try to find a cure for the "I Syndrome" that we often suffer from. Realize that God is in the healing business and he can help us to realize that it is not "all about me" but "IT IS ABOUT JESUS". We must take on the mind of Jesus : think like him, act like him, etc. We must not let our circumstances define us. We can look beyond circumstances and make decisions that are Christlike. Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Please share your "Beyond Me" moments.

Press Pause and Reflect

AND A WONDERFUL TIME WAS HAD BY ALL!!!!! Another Girl Friend weekend has come and gone. Much time was spent talking, sharing and thinking (reflections). God prepared a wonderful place for us, a place of reflection. This weekend was spent in a beautiful place with beautiful people, women of integrity. Squeaky had us to reflect on ourselves, "What ABOUT me? We learned more about Stem Cell research and could reflect on our belief. Jonah had time to reflect in a belly of the fish. Where is your reflection place (not always physical/tangible)? When is your reflection time?

As a result of the reflection time, we should be motivated, inspired, and committed to move on and do something/make a change. What we are motivated to do would depend on what direction God moves you into. HAVE FAITH- GOD CAN AND HE WILL.

Don't stop, PAUSE. Think about what you should learn at this point in your life. Now that you know, what are you going to do? What has this weekend been for you? What have you learned as a result of spending time with the Women of Distinction? Are you better?

See Yourself Strong

You can’t win a victory as long as the problem is the biggest thing in your life! Pain is inevitable, but misery is optional. Trials, complications, sickness, financial difficulties, etc., will come and seem to be overwhelming and appears, at times, to be insurmountable.Don’t think more about problems/circumstances than you think about the scriptural promises that you should be standing on.

The power for living comes from a personal relationship with God. Establish a relationship with God and when it seems like the everyday problems of this world are weighing you down, See Yourself Strong. When trials and tribulations enter your life, don’t succumb, See Yourself Strong. When it appears that you just don’t know which way to go, See Yourself Strong.

Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. 2 Cor. 2:14
